Friday Pie Day....

....what.

ok ok ok. Just want you to know that best possible option for you tonight is Anton Glamb at the Frequency party. This is at Thirtyninehotel tonight and here, in no particular order, are the reasons why I think you will enjoy it:
1. It's an Enterprise party. That means dancedancedancedance. It's super fun to dance sometimes.

2. It's at Thirtyninehotel. The last place you can 'technically' smoke. On that beautiful lanai.
3. Even if you don't particularly know or like Anton's music, it's a damn entertaining show. Trust me on this.

There ARE other options if you're just not feeling the downtown scene. I mean, Russ has a very successful going-on at Brew Moon for the barely legals. EnO is good for people who want to dress up. Same with the W. Also-- Grammy winner Little Louie Vega is at mynewfavoriteafterhours spot Lotus tonight. THAT ish is going til 6am too... Woo!

I'll be at thirtynine tho... where there's never a dress code or douchebag.

Happy Friday-Pie-Day!

Where the hell has Ryan Chun been????

Dude. I used to see you everywhere. Where have you been??

I heard you're gonna have some stuff at this Ground Up Movement show thing tonight. Reason enough for me to peep it, yo. It's in Chinatown which is Indigo town which is where Anton Glamb is playing tonight. Friday plans? Done.

The Week before the Weekend...

...is ready in photos for you to crawl through. Highlights? The strip tease goodness that is the Cherry Blossom Burlesque, Anton killing it at O lounge, niceness in Waikiki wtih Der including a teensy bit of the Louis Vuitton copycat white party, Ryan Laskey's spared-no-expense going away party at the presidential suite, first Friday's art walk in Chinatown AND the Enterprise dancedancedancedance party that was the most fun ever ever ever.

The pics are up. Look.

Damn Turk!

...they grow up so fast! Wasn't it like 4 years days ago when your boy was just a wee grom???

[Star-Bulletin]

What else what else. Oh! Dude. Last night was dopedopedope. If you missed Anton at the O Lounge becuase of the craziness to see Mickey don't worry! He's playing the a few more shows while he's home:
Jun 8 2007 Get Fresh Friday @ Indigos (21+)
Jun 15 2007 Frequency @ 39 Hotel (21+)
Jun 16 2007 rRed Elephant (all ages)

TONIGHT you should venture to Waikiki for Lava Rock Thursdays. It's a new event at the International Market Place by this dude from SF that I met at Lotus on Sunday. I don't know much about him except he had super rad kicks on and was very hyped on putting this together for us. Groove, hip-hop, old school and reggaeton on the stereo and $2 mai tais. They are open til 4am too. WHAT! Party. Call 808-926-5282 for directions.

Mickey Avalon? I seriously don't...

...get it.

But whatever, lovelies. You're all super crazy about him so word. I'll be there tonight to support Anton Glamb... and maybe stick around to watch his half-assed rhyming over strange beats that all sound like I've heard them before. You know why? Because you are SO cute when you get all worked up like that.

Anton isn't *exactly* what you call 'mainstream' either but his music is genius. His attitude is the best you'll ever witness.

AND? He bombs the Pali in a speedo.

Tempo Valley and Paula Fuga...

...are offering their amazing talents tonight for Lacy's Teach One fund raiser. Although it's not mentioned in any of the press releases, she really needs people to donate children's slippers as well as school supplies. Come down at 7pm tonight with any sort of supplies for the children of Kamaile Elementary and pay a modest $5 to share pupus and talk story.

OH! and stop the presses! Anton Glamb is back on island!! I totally had a sighting last night. After a 'sort of' graduation from Columbia he is here to save all of us from music monotony and will be opening for Mickey Avalon next Wednesday at O Lounge. He is also rumored to have another show at Indigo's. I will most definitely keep you posted on THAT.

Last note? Flash, Molly and Payne? You guys were sooooo vodka'd last night! Haw haw. Thanks for the bottle, Lacy. It was a damn good time.
