Monday MOOOOOON.

So I totally saw an amazing total solar eclipse in Newquay (that's in England) in like 1999 or something. Two full minutes of total darkness in the middle of the day. It was crazy. Like the end of the world and I'm not even kidding. All the birds started freaking out and squawking and it got really cold. It was a moment where the power of Earth and the sun and the universe could be felt, that's for sure. No wonder people freaked out about that kind of stuff in the beginning parts of humanity.

Well tonight Hawaii is fortunate enough to be in the pathway of a total LUNAR eclipse. These are pretty dope too. I mean, I can only imagine what our ancestors thought when that huge white ball in the sky turned blood red. I'm sure something was sacrificed.

Either way, they say it should start getting awesome tonight around 11pm. Make sure you stay up. If you can't bear to go outside alone there WILL be a webcast from NASA. Gotta love those guys.

One Weekend...

...200 miles.






ALllllllll the shots are uploaded. There's a lot. A two-parter even. I'm working on it. Might take til tomorrow. We'll see. Trying to stay busy. I appreciate all the support though, it means a lot. Especially when you see me and offer encouragement. We've all been through it, which is nice to know. I'm not alone. Almost through. Just need 11 more months and three weeks. I can do it.

So I was just talking to Ah Foon. We are totally going to record the new promo spot like, today. If you listen to the Zone then you know it's already 3 weeks old. Ooooopsies! it's not like he doesn't have like millions of REAL spots to produce or anything, hahaha. Nah, just letting you know that we know. New one soon. It's only something we've been doing for like 3 weeks so. Give it time. Just so you know, Stella sponsors those. Hence that logo thing popping up around here. I had it up in the MAIN AREA spaces where you look but actually like it better off to the side. Mentioned, just not ALL UP IN YOUR FACE. Do you care? Would you like to voice your opinion? Well! Monday UN fun day? HA!

Mondays are tough, I'll be the first to admit it. Thank GOD for BAMP! They've been managing to bring Hawaii some very good talent since forming a few years ago and man, I gotta tell you. Success! Seriously. I'm trying to remember their first big show-- and I think it was Nick Cannon and 112 in 2005. Anyone? Or was it Mix Master Mike? Shoot, I wish I could remember, but ya, now they've got the venues overflowing and are identifying bands that other concert promoters are like "who?" and the concert goers are like "YES!!" and... well, it's working people. Case in point? Ummm... TONIGHT! Jeez, RATATAT?!?!? What the! I'm so excited. Thankyouthankyouthankyou. Monday is definitely going to be a fun day Brad, Aubrey, Matty and Philip!

Also, before RATATAT, Uncle Tom is presenting The Shins for the kids. They're very nice to listen to. Come early if that's your thing.

Super Bowl Monday

So Rick Rock does this thing at Aiea Bowl on Mondays now. It's worth the drive, trust me. The third Monday of the month is industry night a.k.a. everyone responsible for FUN on Oahu night. We're going.
