Havaianas open first Malaysia Store at Pavilion

From an outsider's perspective, it's a mad notion to fork out good money for a pair of flip flops (we're talking prices that start at RM69.90 here), but to many, a pair of Havaianas is worlds apart from your everyday selipar Jepun.

Funnily enough, the creation of Havaianas by Brazilian founder Sao Paulo Alpargatas was inspired by the customary Japanese Zozi straw sandal. However, what makes Havaianas the premium flip-flop adored by its cult of followers worldwide is the amazingly comfortable and soft rubber used to craft a pair.

In Southeast Asia, only the Philippines and Singapore can claim to have stand-alone Havaianas stores in their country but in mid-November, Malaysia will soon have her own flagship stand-alone Havaianas store. Called H - The All Havaianas Store, it will be opened on Level 4 (Lot 4.52.00) of Pavilion, right smack in the heart of the Golden Triangle.
